Week One: Zanzibar

We begin on the island of Zanzibar — where Indian Ocean blues meet centuries of culture.

Your days will blend rest, exploration and shared experience:

• Boutique beachfront accommodation

• Swahili cooking experience with local chefs

• Guided exploration of historic Stone Town

• Sunrise or sunset beach yoga sessions

• Time to swim, read, wander and breathe

• Sunset cruise along the coast

But what makes this trip different is the depth.

We will spend time with an inspiring group of Zanzibari women who have built a natural skincare business using locally harvested seaweed. In a culture where women have historically had limited financial independence, these entrepreneurs are reshaping opportunity within their community.

We will meet them, learn from them and support their work directly.

A Meaningful Day of Giving Back

Travel Tribe believes in leaving something behind, not just footprints.

During our stay, we will dedicate one structured day to volunteering with a local initiative — supporting either women’s enterprise, education or community development (details confirmed prior to departure).

This is thoughtful, respectful engagement — designed in partnership with the community.

Week Two: Tanzania Safari

We then fly to mainland Tanzania for a four-day safari experience.

Four days immersed in vast landscapes and raw beauty:

• Game drives at dawn and dusk

• Elephants crossing open plains

• Lions resting in tall grass

• Sundowners overlooking endless horizons

• Evenings under African skies
